2025 Fall / Winter Garden
Hey Friends!
Today on the blog, I'm discussing our Fall / Winter 2025 Garden & what we'll be growing this season. In the past, I've experimented with growing different varieties of plants and had much success. While it's fun to experiment, we're now to the point in gardening where we'll be growing varieties that produce well, here in Zone 9b. We need our garden to produce and be as resilient as possible.
Knowing your Gardening Zone is very important in terms of having a successful garden. In our area in South Louisiana, our Zone is 9b.
Let's chat about the varieties we're growing!
Onions
White Creole
Red Creole Onion
Beets
Detroit Dark Reds.
Cylindra

In all my years of gardening, some of these I've grown successfully and some I've never grown to maturity. Fall Gardens are probably my favorite. While Spring and Summer produces many vegetables we enjoy, there's just something about gardening during the "ber" months.
Let me know on Facebook or here what you'll be growing this Fall and Winter season.
